Power Platform Weekly - Issue #257
Hello from MVP Summit! 👋
Welcome to Power Platform Weekly!
Last week the MVP Summit was held in Redmond, Seattle. Check out the podcast section, Ulrikke and Nick recorded an episode of the Power Platform Boost Podcast in the DevRel Studios! 📹
It was also a special moment for us. For the first time ever, all four of us on the Power Platform Weekly team were in the same place at the same time. A huge thank you to our fantastic photographer, Sean Astrakhan, for capturing it.
Have a great week and thanks for reading!

Power Platform Boost Podcast
🦸🏻♀️ This episode was recorded on the first day of MVP Summit, in DevRel Studios at Microsoft campus in Redmond, Seattle. We had a lot of fun recording in a professional studio🎥 , and we are so grateful for the opportunity to record here🙏 . Unfortunately, even though the sound quality in impeccable for once, Ulrikke's voice was not 🙃
We did a short recap of Canadian Power Platform Summit in 🍁 Vancouver where Nick was one of the organizers and Ulrikke was part of a panel discussion. The amazing keynote by Keegan Chambers was heartwarming 💗 and touched on a topic that a lot of us in tech relate to; neurodivergence.
One of the major highlights this last few weeks was the announcement of 🤖 Copilot Cowork. We also wanted to highlight community content around how we see community friends and old colleagues play with different AI tools and put them to work in creative way, like Fredrik Engseth and Sean Astrakhan. There is also a lot happening around the Frontier Framework and the Microsoft IQ stack that we keep an 👀 eye on and share some new learning resources for.
Code. Deploy. Go Live. Podcast
👩💻 In this episode, Andrew and Julie dive deep into the Microsoft 365 Agents Toolkit (ATK) version 6.6.0 release, exploring the latest features and changes for building declarative agents. Andrew walks through the new embedded knowledge functionality that allows developers to include knowledge directly within agents without requiring separate SharePoint uploads, and he shares insights on improvements to actions and plugins. The conversation also covers significant template changes in the toolkit, including what was removed and what's new, along with some frustrations about missed opportunities in how Microsoft is presenting this powerful toolkit to developers.
