Empowering multi-agent apps with the open Agent2Agent (A2A) protocol
🦸🏻♀️🧭👩💻🚀 Yina Arenas (Azure AI) and Bas Brekelmans (Copilot Studio) show that the two are really better together! In their blog they announce how they are adopting multi-agent apps with the Google Agent2Agent (A2A) protocol! In the future you will use protocols like MCP (which is already available) and the earlier mentioned A2A in both Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry!
Fabric Copilot to help write DAX queries improvements
🦸🏻♀️👩💻🚀 Zoe Douglas announced that starting May 2025, enhancements to DAX support are available in Power BI Desktop Copilot for writing and interpreting DAX queries in both Query and Report views, and when using semantic models with Data Agent. These improvements are already live for DAX query view in Power BI web and web report editing via chat.
Unify Datamart with Fabric Data Warehouse!
🦸🏻♀️🧭👩💻🚀 Priyanka Langade announces that Microsoft is unifying Power BI datamarts into Fabric Data Warehouses, offering enhanced scalability, AI integration, and advanced SQL capabilities. Starting June 1, 2025, new datamarts can no longer be created, and existing ones will be deprecated by October 1, 2025; users are advised to migrate to Fabric Data Warehouses to maintain continuity. Migration tools and guidance are available to facilitate this transition.
